Iceberg Alley Performance Tent is Back and Better Than Ever

Estimated Read Time: 2 min

In the fall of 2021 Hurricane Larry stormed into St. John’s and levelled the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent in the middle of its annual concert series. They were able to rally and reschedule the remaining concerts for the Mary Brown’s Centre but people wondered if that might be the end of the Iceberg Alley tent. But fear not, it’ll take more than a hurricane to keep the concert series down.

What is the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent?

Iceberg Alley is an 11 day music festival held in a giant 36,000 sq ft tent in the neighbourhood of Pleasantville in the east end of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The festival was first held in 2016 and has been going strong since.

When is Iceberg Alley in 2024?

The big top will be back on the shores of Quidi Vidi from June 19-29, 2024. This is a departure from their traditional September dates but organizer John Steele has commented that with climate change, he’s tired of “tempting the gods” and the fall is hurricane season. So June it is!
